This poster plays with the oddly captivating mix of fascination and disgust that comes with watching a pimple-popping video. Designed for a live pimple-popping event, the text “Pop on By” bursts from an explosion of pus, making typography the star of the composition. To balance the gross-out factor, I used a yellow and green analogous color scheme for a strangely appealing aesthetic. The tension of the fingers pressing the pimple amplifies anticipation, creating a visually striking and dynamic design that grabs attention from both near and far.Tools: Adobe Illustrator.
